The Top 4 directors of the Engage Lead Serve Board, Amanda Allen, Jerome Soldo, Mary Elizabeth Young, and Joey Schmidt, along with one staff advisor, Heidi Elmer, attended the conference. Four additional student leaders active in ELSB also attended. Whitney Oggy attended on behalf of the Alternative Service Breaks Board.

Attending the IMPACT Conference was extremely beneficial to this group of students as it helped them better understand the importance and influence ELSB can have on our campus and in the surrounding community.  They engaged in workshops and conference sessions focused on community service programs, issues and advocacy, leadership, alternative service breaks, and volunteer management. Additionally, they networked with student leaders in similar roles from other universities that relate to the challenges and issues of encouraging a campus of active citizenship.
